2017 POST-GRADUATE FOREIGN SCHOLARSHIP

As part of their Human Resource Development initiatives, the NDDC is embarking on Foreign Post Graduate (Masters and PHD) Scholarship Programme to equip Niger Deltans with relevant training and skills for effective participation in the Local content programme of the current Administration as well as compete globally in various professional fields

The scheme is for suitably qualified applicants with relevant Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree from recognized Universities in the following professional disciplines:

1.      Agricultural Sciences
2.      Engineering
3.      Environmental Sciences
4.      Geosciences
5.      Information Technology
6.      Law  
7.      Management Sciences
8       Medicine

Eligible States:

Nigerian Citizens from the nine (9) Niger delta states:
Abia, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross river, Delta, Edo, Imo, Ondo, Rivers.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:

1.     First degree with minimum of 2nd Class Lower Division for those wishing to undertake a Master’s Degree programme and a good Master’s Degree for PhD candidates from a recognized University.

2.    Applicants must have gained admission for a Post Graduate Programme in any of the listed disciplines above, in a foreign University.

3.    Applicants who have already enrolled in Overseas’ Universities are NOT eligible to apply.

4.    Guarantor’s written consent of good conduct of the applicant from any of the following persons from the applicant’s community/clan.

• Member of National Assembly/State House of Assembly
• Chairman of the LGA
• First Class Traditional Ruler
• High Court Judge

5      Persons with evidence of cult membership or criminal record shall not be considered for the award.

6     Applicants must have completed the mandatory National Youth Service (NYSC).

MODE OF APPLICATION:

• Application must be made on-line at the Commission’s website: (www.nddc.gov.ng). With the following attachments.
• Recent passport photograph
• Local Government Identification Letter.
• Post Graduate Admission Letter from a recognised Overseas University.
• Relevant Degrees from a recognized University.
• N.Y.S.C Discharge/Exemption Certificate.
  
  2. Successfully completed application forms will be assigned registration numbers automatically.
  
  3. Print the hard copy of the on-line generated acknowledgement for ease of reference.
  
  4. All shortlisted applicants will be posted on the  NDDC website (www.nddc.gov.ng).

STOP ABUSING THAT CHILD!

I am particularly left distraught and broken when I see or hear of how Children are continually abused, treated badly and sometimes killed by adults who are meant to take care of them.

The internet is replete with hideous pictures and videos of inhuman acts carried out on these precious beings … This indeed is unfortunate and demonic.

Please do not hesitate to let us know  at (Godly Seed Network) GSN if you know of any Child going through this kind of treatment.

Why?! And how can people be so wicked?

The word of God is complete; it is also instructive on how to relate to and regard children:

Matthew 18:10  says….“See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that their Angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven." Yes! Their Angels give God a daily update- BE CAREFUL how you treat Children!

As a parent, know that you will give account for, and are responsible for what happens to your Children!

Do not be too busy working, making money and being away while your Children are destroyed!

And please do not have Children if you cannot or are not ready to care for them; your Children NEED YOU!

Children are precious Gifts from God; love them, treat them with care, dignity and respect- Like priceless Jewels..

Teach them the word of God diligently -Deut6:7 ; every time and everywhere, and practice what you preach!

Teach them to obey and respect you- Eph6:1-4, Ex20:12, respect their elders, themselves, people, animals and things!

It is important to note that when you teach them to, and they respect you, they will prosper and live long Eph6:3.

God’s love for us was so strong he gave us his best, his only beloved…Jesus- John3:16

Jesus Christ loved us so much, he died for us- Love Children this way- With everything you’ve got!

Remember, every Child is your Child- Love them.

Are Children really important?

One of the ways we know the mind of God concerning anything is through his Word.. The Bible contains the word of God.

Jesus loves Children- they are an important and valuable part of his Kingdom. Because children are important to God, Children are also important to us.

Children are your Crown:

A Crown represents power, legitimacy, victory, triumph, honor, and glory, as well as immortality, righteousness, and resurrection. .. I leave you to think about how a King takes care of his Crown or how his Kingdom addresses same-

Children’s children are a crown to the aged, and parents are the pride of their children. — Proverbs 17:6

Children are the Greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven:

When Jesus Christ was asked by his disciples “Who, then, is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?”

Jesus called a little child to him, and placed the child among them. And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.

  — Matthew 18:1-5

 — Luke 18:15-17

Children are a heritage.. a special or individual possession; an allotted portion.. from the Lord:

.. offspring a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their opponents in court.

  — Psalm 127:3-5

Children are a blessing, a reward:

From the above bible verse, it is obvious that Children are an evidence of God’s blessings upon your life. 

Can bad people have good Children?

Why?! even bad people want good Children..

Are you surprised that even the very bad people want their Children to turn out good, great and even Godly?

Well, I am not, because the Godly Seed is Gods’ plan and desire..

The very source of that desire for good, great, godly Children emanates from God our Creator (Mal 2:15 NLT).

Our desires are he did not only make us like himself (Gen1:27), we are (right now on earth) the way God is (1 john 4:17)
Clearly this is one of the reasons God instituted marriage - for godly seed from Mal 2:15 NLT

Bad people, like good people, like good things, expect good things to happen to them, and will give good to their Children (Matt7:9)

 You’ll say crazy , but yea.. I’ve heard of Robbers praying to succeed at a robbery operation)

What we must however understand is that without a genuine relationship with Christ Jesus, raising Godly seed will be outright impossible.


This is why many parents are in the frustrating position; wondering when the many problems they’re having with their Children will ever end!

They are ‘putting the Horse before the Cart’ trying to raise Children for the Lord Jesus without having a genuine relationship him!

I will be walking you by the Spirit of God, through how we can achieve God’s desire of raising Godly seed through you and I...

Don't give up on that Child!
